at Kojak’s 1:00-5:00ish
The third Sunday of each month we gather at Kojak’s. They’re closed so we have the place to ourselves. Very cool. We move the tables and put the chairs in a circle. We take turns going around the circle sharing tunes. This is an encouraging time for people of all skill levels.
Each month we have a song seed. It’s like a prompt with no due date. The seed for May is “barriers”.

- The Old Quarter Acoustic Cafe in Galveston hosts a songwriter night on the 3rd Wednesday of each month. It is hosted on alternating months by Grifters & Shills or Brightwire.
